Where are you from Originally?

I am from Poland, based in Warsaw.

Give me a brief description of your career trajectory – professionally trained or not, opportunities that led to breakthroughs.

I am currently studying in two photography schools at once. Yes, I know it's weird but at some point in my life, I could not decide which one is better and tried both. I don't regret it because after all, it created two different groups of contacts and friendships that are so helpful right now. The real game changer was moving to Milan for a couple of months. I didn't expect anything sophisticated at that time and let's be honest - I am still not working for Vogue but the experienced helped me to understand the way in photography I would like to follow.

What is the best way to describe the working relationship between you as a photographer and your stylist on any given project? How important is that related to the success of that project?

Two words - amazing friendship. I am usually close with people that work with, which in my opinion creates the best results. Before an important shooting, we do not only talk about mood board or location details but I am also happy to visit showrooms together and organize a drink with the whole team after. The better we know each other the better we understand our needs.

In your free time, what kind of pictures do you like to shoot and which ones do you avoid?

I usually work with people as a commercial photographer so in my free time, I prefer to shoot anything that doesn't involve the face haha Still life, landscape, a lot of traveling photography. To be more specific it is usually on film because I like that unexpected results and mistakes that are completely different than my work.

What is your creative Mantra? Like what do you live by to stay on the cusp as a creative image maker?

I believe in timeless elegance. You can see right now that especially on social media like Instagram photographs with several mistakes or weird mood are in fashion and for sure they look amazing but to me creating the good quality image that can really show your skills is more important. You can say that my Mantra is just Simplicity.

What makes an image iconic?

Two me the most memorable photographs are the ones with the interesting detail that you do not really see at first sight and later accidentally put an eye on it or someone brings your attention to it and the element of surprise is amazing.
