You are turning 30 while also celebrating 10 years in the entertainment industry. Looking back, how has your definition of success evolved from when you first started to where you are today?

When I first started, success meant being seen and earning opportunities. I was focused on proving myself. Today, success feels much more personal. It’s about balance, fulfillment, and enjoying the life I’m building. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about professional milestones, but about staying true to who you are while growing and evolving.

In just a decade, you’ve gone from an aspiring communicator to a recognizable voice in Hispanic television. What moment would you say truly shifted your career trajectory?

A defining moment in my career was the opportunity to host Miss Universe in 2020 and then continue doing it for six consecutive years. That platform changed everything for me. It gave me visibility, but more importantly, it gave me credibility. Being in that role required preparation, strong opinions, and the confidence to stand by what I was saying, knowing that some people would agree and others wouldn’t. That consistency and honesty are what truly differentiated me in the industry.

The restaurant industry demands discipline, leadership, and resilience. What lessons from entrepreneurship have most influenced the way you approach your media career?

The restaurant has taught me patience, discipline, and the importance of teamwork. It reminds me that every role matters and that success is built day by day. That perspective has influenced how I work in television, making me more grounded, collaborative, and appreciative of the process.

Beyond television, you’ve stepped into the entrepreneurial world through the restaurant business. What inspired you to expand into this space, and how does that type of visibility differ from being in front of the camera?

The opportunity to be part of A Fuego Lento came unexpectedly, but it arrived at the perfect moment. It’s a place I truly love, and that’s why I’ve never hesitated to invest my time and energy into it. Being involved in the restaurant makes me happy and brings joy to many people. The visibility is different: on television you’re seen, but in a restaurant you create experiences and real connections with people.

As a Latino figure with growing influence, how do you view the responsibility that comes with representing Hispanic-owned businesses and projects in mainstream spaces?

I see it as both a responsibility and an honor. Supporting Hispanic-owned businesses is personal to me because it reflects our culture, our values, and our work ethic. Representation matters, and I’m very conscious of showing up with professionalism and authenticity in every space I occupy.

Marriage has introduced a new chapter in your life. How has building a life with your husband reshaped your priorities, both personally and professionally?

Building a life with my husband, Carlos, has grounded me deeply. It has reshaped my priorities by reminding me that life is about sharing moments, not just accomplishments. That partnership brings balance, perspective, and a sense of calm that positively impacts both my personal and professional life.

With such a public career, maintaining balance can be challenging. What boundaries have you learned to set in order to protect your family life and personal well-being?

Balance is something I work on intentionally. I maintain a fit lifestyle, I use running as a way to clear my mind, and I set personal goals that have nothing to do with my career. Those spaces help me stay mentally and emotionally healthy. I’ve learned to protect my personal time and disconnect when needed.

Major global events are ahead, including coverage of the Super Bowl and the World Cup with Telemundo. How do you mentally and professionally prepare for moments that carry such cultural and global impact?

Events like the Super Bowl and the World Cup genuinely excite me because they go beyond television and bring people together across cultures. I prepare with respect and responsibility, knowing their impact. At the same time, I’m interested in continuing to explore my entrepreneurial side and possibly stepping into the political world in the future.

As you enter this new decade, what excites you more: projects that expand your reach or those that challenge you creatively and personally?

At this stage of my life, I’m more excited by projects that challenge me creatively and personally. Growth, learning, and enjoyment are my priorities now. Reach is important, but fulfillment is what truly motivates me.

Fashion has become a strong extension of your public identity. How would you describe your personal style today, and what role does fashion play in how you communicate who you are?

My personal style today is bold yet elegant. I enjoy taking risks and experimenting with fashion without losing refinement. Fashion allows me to express confidence, creativity, and evolution. It’s another way of communicating who I am before I even speak.
