An industrial engineer with an MBA, Paola has never followed a linear path. Guided by curiosity rather than convention, she seamlessly blends structure with intuition, precision with imagination. As co-founder of UHost.ai and BNB Hyperion, her work reflects a deeply human-centered approach to technology — one that prioritizes clarity, connection, and meaningful impact over complexity.

Living between Miami, New York, and Washington, D.C., Paola draws inspiration from contrast: creativity and openness, discipline and ambition, strategy and vision. These cities shape not only her entrepreneurial mindset, but also her refined, adaptable personal style — a language through which she expresses intention, emotion, and identity.

Fashion, for Paola, is more than aesthetics. It is storytelling. A natural extension of her public voice. From New York Fashion Week to global art gatherings like Art Basel Miami, she navigates cultural spaces with the same thoughtful balance that defines her work.

Beyond business and fashion, Paola values wellness, longevity, and the beauty of everyday rituals — from discovering new cuisine to movement, mental clarity, and quiet moments of reflection. Grounded yet constantly evolving, she embodies a modern vision of fulfillment built on curiosity, balance, and purpose.

In this issue, Paola Gamargo invites us to rethink success — not as perfection, but as a life designed with intention.

What originally inspired you to pursue a career that blends engineering, business, and creativity rather than following a traditional linear path?

I’ve always been driven by curiosity rather than convention. Engineering gave me structure, business gave me execution, and creativity gave me purpose. I never felt the need to choose just one — the intersection of all three is where I feel most alive.

How has your background in industrial engineering shaped the way you approach entrepreneurship today?

Industrial engineering trained me to see patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities within complex systems. I approach entrepreneurship by optimizing both processes and human experiences, understanding that sustainable growth depends on how people interact with systems, not just numbers.

Co-founding UHost.ai and BNB Hyperion, what philosophy guides your decision-making across both ventures?

My guiding philosophy is that technology should enhance human life, not complicate it. Every decision is centered on whether it simplifies operations, empowers people, and creates meaningful value rather than noise.

What gaps in the short-term rental industry did you see that motivated you to develop an AI-driven solution?

I noticed an industry rich in data but poor in clarity. Many operators were overwhelmed instead of supported. AI, when designed thoughtfully, can reduce friction, automate intelligently, and allow humans to focus on hospitality, creativity, and strategy.

In your view, what does a “human-centered” approach to technology truly look like in practice?

Human-centered technology feels intuitive, respectful, and ethical. It supports decision-making without replacing judgment. When done well, it blends seamlessly into daily life and gives people back their time and mental space.

How has dividing your time between Miami, New York, and Washington, D.C. influenced your entrepreneurial mindset?

Each city contributes something unique. Miami fuels creativity and openness, New York sharpens ambition and discipline, and Washington, D.C. strengthens strategic thinking. Together, they keep my mindset dynamic and multidimensional.

How do you maintain creativity while operating in industries that require precision, efficiency, and structure?

Structure doesn’t limit creativity — it protects it. When systems are well designed, creativity has room to breathe. I see creativity as a disciplined practice, not a spontaneous accident.

How did your love for fashion evolve from a personal interest into a creative extension of your public identity?

Fashion has always been a form of communication for me. Over time, it naturally became a way to express ideas, moods, and values. It’s not about trends, but about intentional self-expression and storytelling.

How would you define your personal style, and how has it evolved across the cities you’ve lived in?

My style is refined, intentional, and adaptable. Living in different cities added layers — European elegance, Miami boldness, and New York polish. It continues to evolve as I do.

How do you use social media to merge your interests in fashion, culture, and entrepreneurship without losing authenticity?

Authenticity comes from alignment. I share what genuinely inspires me and reflects my real life. When your values are consistent offline and online, authenticity becomes effortless.

What does wellness mean to you beyond traditional fitness?

Wellness is clarity, balance, and longevity. It’s about managing energy, protecting mental space, and cultivating habits that support both performance and peace.

If you could leave readers with one message about building a fulfilling life, what would it be?

Design your life with intention, stay curious, and allow yourself to evolve. Fulfillment isn’t found in perfection — it’s built through thoughtful choices over time.
